Privacy statement.
Effective July 30, 2026.
Who we are
Palisade Technologies Group, Inc. operates palisadelabs.com. In this statement, "Palisade," "we," and "us" mean Palisade Technologies Group, Inc. "The site" means palisadelabs.com and its pages, including subdomains, except any subdomain that requires a login or that operates under its own posted terms or a signed agreement.
What this statement covers
This statement covers the site. Nothing else. It is a notice, not a contract: it describes what the site does, and Palisade holds itself to it.
Palisade platform deployments run under written agreements between Palisade and each customer, including the Palisade Platform Terms. Those agreements govern platform data end to end. This statement does not apply to any Palisade platform, deployment, or customer environment, and it does not modify any agreement. If you want to know how a Palisade customer handles data inside its own deployment, ask that customer.
The short version
The site has no accounts, no forms, no advertising, and no tracking, and it sets no cookies. No analytics or measurement code runs in your browser. Three things exist, and only three: small functional values stored in your own browser, standard server logs at our hosting provider, and email you choose to send us. Each is described below.
What exists
Browser storage. The site keeps two functional values in your browser's local storage: a motion preference, so the site remembers if you asked it to reduce animation, and a first-visit flag, so the opening sequence plays once instead of every time. The site reads and writes these values on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. They identify nothing and no one. They are not cookies and they are not a tracking mechanism. You can clear them at any time through your browser's site-data controls, and the site will simply treat you as new.
Server logs. The site is static files served by a hosting and content delivery provider. Like effectively every server on the internet, that infrastructure records standard request logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, timestamp, and response status. We use these logs for security and operations only: detecting abuse, diagnosing faults, and keeping the site up. The provider can also show us aggregate traffic figures derived from them; that is the only measurement of site use that exists. The logs are kept for a limited period on the provider's standard rolling schedule and are not archived by us. We do not mine them, enrich them, or join them to anything else.
Correspondence. If you email us, we receive what you send: your address, your message, and anything you attach. We use it to respond and to carry on the business you raised. We keep correspondence as ordinary business records in access-controlled business systems, including the email service that hosts our mailboxes.
That is the complete inventory for the site. Everything the site gives us comes from you or from your browser's requests. The site brings us nothing about you from data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party. If something is not listed above, the site does not collect it.
What does not exist
None of the following exists on the site:
- No accounts and no login. - No forms and no submissions. - No analytics code, first party or third party. - No advertising and no ad technology of any kind. - No cookies, pixels, beacons, or fingerprinting. - No sale of personal information, and no sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. - No targeted advertising. - No profiling, and no automated decisions about you beyond the routine security filtering our infrastructure applies to all traffic. - No social media plug-ins and no embedded third-party trackers.
If any of this changes, this statement changes first, with a new effective date.
How we use information
We use server logs to keep the site secure and running. We use correspondence to reply and to conduct the business it raises; if you wrote to us about Palisade, we will write back about Palisade, and we add no one to a marketing list they did not ask to join. Browser storage never reaches us; the site reads it on your device and it serves no other purpose. We comply with law where law requires it. Those are the only purposes. We do not use visitor information for advertising, for profiling, or to train models.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade information about visitors. Three narrow disclosures exist. Service providers under contract process limited information for us: the hosting and content delivery provider that serves the site and keeps its logs, and the providers of the business systems, including email, where correspondence lives; each acts on our instructions and for no other purpose. We disclose information if the law compels it, for example in response to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful demand, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate abuse of the site or to protect a person's safety. And if Palisade merges, is acquired, or reorganizes, business records, including correspondence, may pass to the successor, which takes them subject to this statement.
Cookies, Do Not Track, and Global Privacy Control
The site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Some browsers send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. California law asks us to say how we respond. The honest answer is that the signals have nothing to switch off. The site does not track you, does not sell or share personal information, and does not serve targeted advertising, whether or not a signal is present. We treat every visitor the way those signals request.
Links to other sites
The site links to a small number of outside destinations. Once you leave the site, this statement no longer applies. The destination's own policies govern there.
Your privacy rights
We honor the rights below for everyone they name, whether or not any particular statute's thresholds reach a company of Palisade's size. The practice is the same either way.
### California
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, establishes rights over personal information: to know what is collected and why, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, to opt out of sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these.
Here is how those rights meet this site. The only personal information we hold about a typical visitor sits in short-lived server logs, and the only personal information we hold longer is correspondence you sent us. In the statutory categories, that is identifiers and internet or network activity from logs, and identifiers plus whatever you chose to include from correspondence. We collect no sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We do not use sensitive personal information, so there is nothing to limit.
You can still exercise every right. Email hq@palisadelabs.com with "privacy request" in the subject line and tell us what you want to know, correct, delete, or receive. We will verify that you are who you say you are, using only the information needed to do so, and respond within the time the law allows. You may use an authorized agent; we will confirm the agent's authority with you. If we decline a request, we will say why, and you may appeal by replying to our response. We will not treat you differently for asking.
### Other US states
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and the other states with comprehensive privacy laws grant comparable rights: access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-outs from targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. The same facts apply. We do none of the things the opt-outs cover, and we honor the remaining rights through the same address and the same process, including the right to appeal a refusal.
### Everywhere else
If the law where you live gives you rights over personal information, write to us and we will honor what applies. Given what the site collects, the usual outcome of an access request is a short answer. We consider that the point.
Children
The site is a corporate site. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The site itself has no mechanism for submitting personal information; the only channel is ordinary email. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Retention
Browser storage stays on your device until you clear it; we never hold it. Server logs are kept for a limited period on the provider's standard rolling schedule and are not archived by us. Correspondence is kept while the matter it concerns remains live, and afterward only as long as law, accounting, or the defense of legal claims requires.
Security
The site is served over TLS. It is static: there is no application backend, no database of visitor accounts, and no stored submissions. The strongest control on this site is that it holds almost nothing, and we intend to keep it that way. Correspondence is held in access-controlled business systems.
International visitors
The site is served through a global content delivery network, so a request may be answered, and a log entry created, at infrastructure near you. The information described in this statement is held and used in the United States. When you use the site or write to us, you are dealing with a United States company.
Changes to this statement
When the site changes in a way that matters here, this statement changes first. We post the new version at this address with a new effective date. The version posted here is the version in force. Changes do not apply retroactively to information collected before them.
Governing law and venue
This statement is a notice, not a contract. Use of the site is governed by the site's Terms of Use, and any dispute about the site or this statement travels with them: New York law applies, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts sitting in New York County, New York are the exclusive venue. This section speaks only to the website. The agreements that govern Palisade platform deployments carry their own law and venue terms, and those terms control in their own world.

Questions, requests, and complaints about this statement all go to the same place. A person reads them.
(a) Render No warranties and Limit on liability at full heading weight, never collapsed behind an accordion; conspicuousness is doing legal work. (b) robots.txt and llms.txt exist at the site root and currently welcome all crawlers; the Automated access section depends on both staying published. (c) Ship-gate from finding 6: the browser-storage paragraph names two values; the current code has one read-only key (palisade.motion) and no first-visit flag; reconcile code and copy the day this ships. (d) Ship-gate from finding 5: confirm the production host injects no cookies of its own; if it ever does, both documents change first with a new effective date. (e) Publish at /terms and /privacy; /legal is the legal-operations sector page. (f) Zero em dashes and zero en dashes in both documents; keep it that way through CMS entry. (g) This replaces the prior thin draft (California law, San Diego County); entity and venue per spec: Palisade Technologies Group, Inc., New York law, New York County.
